Lotus Evora GTC is the new racing model of the British car maker, a model which will compete in several competitions such as the American Grand-Am Rolex Sports Car Series, VdeV Series or British GT Championship.

Under the bonnet sits a powerful 4.0-liter V6 engine linked to a new XTRAC six-speed sequential transmission. The model is able to deliver 450 horsepower and 460 Nm of torque, acceleration and top speed figures being unavailable at the moment.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

“The engine and gearbox of the GT4 Enduro are carried over to the GTC, but the car has been on a diet,” says Lotus.

In order to keep the total mass at a low point, the British company fitted the new Evora GTC with lightweight components such as carbon fiber doors, engine cover and roof while plexiglass windows also help to cut weight.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

With such efforts, the Evora GTC weighs only 1130 kilograms, significant improvements over the previous models.
